This loose and character filled drawing of a decadent & excess celebratory “Afterparty” is an expression of both simplicity and the personal celebration of freedom of life and joy. The image is an expression of insight into the life of the artist which the simplistic line quality is met with the dichotomy and presence of pure color in an explosion of life. The artist celebrates his own voice and produces the image as an outlet to artist’s subconscious as through personal introspection and consistent self-development and awareness. Alexander Paige expresses his own gratitude for living and the ability to experience sunlight, draw with color, have conversation and a general appreciation for life as a whole.
