ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2022 Color Ink & Pastel Drawing “Summer Color”
This wildly abstract color drawing was produced by holding multiple-colored pens at once. Alexander Paige displays his myriad of technique style and overall approach to producing fine art by being able to jump from one color to another complementary to the form and the composition which is an expression of both simplicity and the personal celebration of freedom of life and beauty. The simplicity of shape of the form is met with the dichotomy and presence of pure color in an explosion of life. The artist celebrates his own voice portraying the bond between a man and a woman. Alexander Paige expresses his own gratitude for living and the ability to experience sunlight, draw with color, have conversation and a general appreciation for life as a whole.
