ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2022 Color Ink & Pastel Drawing “Stockholm Bottles”
This simple color line drawing references a moment in “Moments & Experiences” where the artist wakes up in a woman’s apartment in Odenplan Stockholm Sweden and sees array of bottles on a table which is an expression of both chaos and the personal celebration of the choice to live radically. The simplicity of shape of the female form is met with the dichotomy and presence of pure color in an explosion of life. The artist celebrates his own voice and produces the image as an outlet to artist’s subconscious as through personal introspection and consistent self-development and awareness. Alexander Paige expresses his own gratitude for living and the ability to experience sunlight, draw with color, have conversation and a general appreciation for life as a whole.
