ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2001 Painting on Canvas “Martini Girl Black Abstract”

This early painting by Alexander Paige was produced with an acrylic house paint & a modest oil glaze of Linseed Oil & Copal Painting medium.  This particular painting is one of the earliest depictions of artist Alexander Paige’s traditional iconic subject matter of a woman with a martini glass.  This early painting was produced & is one of the first artistic pieces where the artist went in a number of times painting in layers.  Alexander Paige tells the story of “timeless love” & the concept of “falling out of love” in this painting.
