ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2022 Black & White Ink Drawing “Sculpture Garden”
This pen & ink stylized drawing depicts a complete celebration of form in line. This image is drawn from a sculpture thee artist produced called “The Angry Housewife” where the artist lived with three sculptures with girlfriend at the time Lisa Danielle. The artist expression of confusion, fear, unpredictable iratic behavior presented by former lover Lisa Danielle is characterized by the unique movement and edgy curvature depicted in the shapes in the objects in “Sculpture Garden.” This ink drawing on paper is a loose fun expression of fear and exhaustion brought on by former Lisa Danielle & subconsciously describes the “long road” the artist had to go down to recover from the damage Lisa Danielle created. This drawing was produced at a time where the artist was in a Rehabilitation clinic for a term of ninety days where Alexander Paige was not allowed television or phone where the artist used his imagination of life experiences to draw from memory.
