This unique vibrant abstract academic portrait transfer painting of Marilyn Monroe has a cold darkness to this painting and was produced with three poster images of the female American icon Marilyn Monroe in an evil undertone. “Marilyn Midnight Moments” is a cold tale of materialism & ego exploration in expressive pop imagery. Alexander Paige augments the image taking space away from the image & adding painted glass. Alexander Paige isolated himself in the summer of 2020 in the infamous La Jolla Studio dealing with his own inner turmoil which comes through in this particular painting. “Marilyn Midnight Moments” was originally a particle board in an alley in Pacific Beach & has become a special creative painting which emerged as one of the gems of the collection & is in the possession of the artist in Southern California.
