This unique expressive abstract academic portrait transfer painting of Marilyn Monroe’s eyes is depicted looking into a range of color. “Eyes of Tomorrow” plays on forms and perspective which can change our world & reality. The mirrors in the image tell the tale of how decadence & excess can augment your own reality & turn a kind soul into something darker, a duality which is expressed through the two images of Marilyn next to each other in this piece. Alexander Paige isolated himself in the summer of 2020 in the infamous La Jolla Studio dealing with his own inner turmoil. “Iconic Marilyn” emerged as one of the gems of the collection & is in the possession of the artist in Southern California.
