ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2020 La Jolla Studio “Impressionist Roses”
This loose abstract impressionist painting of red & orangish roses emerging from a vase was produced with acrylic house paint, & oil paint applied with painting knife onto a smaller canvas. This painting shows the looseness & freedom of exploration as the artist paints the image in a matter of moments, applying paint as if the world were ending. The artist produces, without speaking.
