ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2022 Color Ink & Pastel Drawing “Bottles in Movement”
This still life image of bottles is abstract as well as simplified. This image ties back to a chapter in the artists novel “Moments & Experiences” specifically the chapter titled Stockholm Sweden. The simplicity of shape of the objects is met with the dichotomy and presence of pure color in an explosion of life. The artist celebrates his own voice and produces the image as an outlet to artist’s subconscious as through personal introspection and consistent self-development and awareness. Alexander Paige expresses his own gratitude for living and the ability to experience sunlight, draw with color, have conversation and a general appreciation for life as a whole.
