This loose abstract impressionist painting was originally a palette for a painting session. Many of Alexander Paige’s best paintings begin this way. This painting produced with acrylic house paint as well as oil paint on a wood board. The subject matter of the image is a simple blue bouquet of flowers. Alexander Paige builds up the layers of paint in this painterly impressionist painting & scratches away the shape of a square linear vase below the rare blue flower. Ironically the artist brought a blue orchid to see the parents of his diseased best friend who passed & is the motivation behind his entire fine art career. Loose abstract energy as well as complete focus & attention went into this impress still life painting. Alexander Paige remains dedicated to production of fine art & resides out of Southern California.
