This unique drawing of a woman in a red dress “running” is an expression of both simplicity and the personal celebration of freedom of life and beauty. The simplicity of shape of the female form and the red outfit is met with the dichotomy and presence of pure color in an explosion of life. The artist celebrates his own voice portraying the bond between a man and a woman. Alexander Paige expresses his own gratitude for living and the ability to experience sunlight, draw with color, have conversation and a general appreciation for life as a whole.
