ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2020 La Jolla Studio “Aqua Still Life”
This abstract mixed media painting of a bottle accompanied with a paintbrush is brough forward with fragmented mirrors in the painting. The artist chooses his own rendition on still life as this painting contains an aqua blue underpainting the birds were chirping with the sunrise in the La Jolla Blvd Studio of 2020. This particular painting came as an outlet and was a breakthrough as the artist decided to vividly splatter paint & bring the image forward by blocking out the negative space with acrylic flat white paint.
