ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2020 La Jolla Studio “Vase & Rabbits”

This unique abstract academic painting of vases with objects appearing to be rabbits emerging out of them was produced with acrylic house paint, oil paint, painted glass on a framed canvas.  This painting shows the looseness & freedom of exploration as the artist paints the image in a matter of moments.    The artist produces, without speaking as this painting took place in a matter of moments on one of the last nights of the infamous 2020 La Jolla studio.  This abstract impressionist painting is one of one hundred paintings which were produced in the La Jolla 2020 Studio. Artist Alexander Paige showed the painting to his best friend and love of his life Lauren Timmons, who laughed and said, “Are those Rabbits?”  The vivid colorful underpainting is brough forward with white negative space bringing the objects forward.  Complete therapy & existence within paint becomes Alexander Paige with this abstract still life floral painting.  Alexander Paige remains dedicated to production of fine art & resides out of Southern California.
