ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2001 Painting on Magazine Cover “Woman Walking Yellow”

Alexander Paige decided to “blast” the cover of the San Diego Reader with yellow paint pen.  This expressive paint pen drawing on magazine is a playful attempt outside of academic art.    The two women walk together with a bond displaying friendship.  Alexander Paige tells the story of “friendship being the most valuable commodity in this existence” & the concept of “existing in multiple realms & frequencies ” with the eccentric & expressive yellow background to this painted magazine cover.
