ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2022 Color Ink & Pastel Drawing “Summer Table”
This simplistic continuous line still life drawing of a table with fruit & glassware is an expression of both simplicity and the personal celebration of freedom of life and beauty. The composition of the objects on the table is met with the dichotomy and presence of pure color in an explosion of life. The artist celebrates his own voice portraying the bond between a man and a woman. Alexander Paige expresses his own gratitude for living and the ability to experience sunlight, draw with color, have conversation and a general appreciation for life as a whole.
