This image is the traditional iconic subject matter of a woman standing in a “Flowing Pink Dress” next to a table with bottle and glass. The form of the woman and the line quality of the dress as well as the minimal color pallette is an expression of both simplicity and the personal celebration of freedom of life and beauty. The simplicity of shape of the male robot is met with the dichotomy and presence of pure color in an explosion of life. The artist celebrates his own voice portraying the bond between a man and a woman. Alexander Paige expresses his own gratitude for living and the ability to experience sunlight, draw with color, have conversation and a general appreciation for life as a whole.
