ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2022 Color Ink & Pastel Drawing “Stepping into the Sun”
This summer inspired lighthearted drawing of a woman depicted running within an interior is an expression of both simplicity and the personal celebration of freedom of life and joy. The simplicity of shape of the female form is met with the dichotomy and presence of the warm color palette in an explosion of life. The artist celebrates his own voice and produces the image as an outlet to artist’s subconscious as through personal introspection and consistent self-development and awareness. Alexander Paige expresses his own gratitude for living and the ability to experience sunlight, draw with color, have conversation and a general appreciation for life as a whole.
