ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2022 Color Ink & Pastel Drawing “Indian Style”
This drawing of nude woman seated “Indian Style” next to vases is an expression of both simplicity and the personal celebration of freedom of life and expression. The simplicity of shape woman as well as the objects is met with the dichotomy and presence of pure color in an explosion of life. The artist celebrates his own voice portraying the bond between a man and a woman. Alexander Paige expresses his own gratitude for living and the ability to experience sunlight, draw with color, have conversation and a general appreciation for life as a whole.
