This iconic drawing is the most common subject matter from Alexander Paige. A woman in a “teacup” toylike form is an expression of both simplicity and the personal celebration of freedom of life and joy. The simplicity of shape of vase and flowers is met with the dichotomy and presence of pure color in an explosion of life. The artist celebrates his own voice and produces the image as an outlet to artist’s subconscious as through personal introspection and consistent self-development and awareness. Alexander Paige expresses his own gratitude for living and the ability to experience sunlight, draw with color, have conversation and a general appreciation for life as a whole.
