ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2022 Color Ink & Pastel Drawing “Couple Destroyed”
This abstract drawing tells the story of artist Alexander Paige post relationship with Lisa Danielle and the sustaining emptiness in this new chapter of life. The image is an expression of both simplicity and the personal celebration of freedom of life and expression. The simplicity of shape of couple standing together is met with the dichotomy and presence of pure color in an explosion of life. The artist celebrates his own voice and produces the image as an outlet to artist’s subconscious as through personal introspection and consistent self-development and awareness. Alexander Paige expresses his own gratitude for living and the ability to experience sunlight, draw with color, have conversation and a general appreciation for life as a whole.
