This iconic still life drawing is a simplistic abstract academic drawing of flowers emerging from a triangular shaped vase in “Still Life II.” This pencil drawing is an attempt at an academic drawing from imagination. Alexander Paige did not look at a flower and vase to produce this image it was drawn out of his own head. This image is an image of divine consciousness and purity of soul in a pure moment of kindness.
