ALEXANDER PAIGE – 2022 Black & White Ink Drawing “Sin City”
This unique black & white pen & ink drawing is unique in that it was produced in a Rehabilitation clinic in 2022 but mirrors the drawings produced in 2008 over a decade earlier. This drawing titled, “Sin City” is unique in that it shows the struggle & duality in social drinking and subliminal elements of male & female attraction & sexuality as the two women. The artist struggles with which direction to take in life & love as monogamy has historically been a struggle in many passionate yet failed relationships. Alexander Paige’s line quality & playful attempt at sharing the love and mutual reciprocation of love between a man and a woman. The image & the content itself is a celebration of form perceived & depicted, loose free and expressive from artist Alexander Paige in 2022.
