This unique self-portrait drawing of an artist standing in the center of the image is an expression of both simplicity and the personal celebration of freedom of life and expression. The simplicity of shape relative to the form is met with the dichotomy and presence of pure color in an explosion of life. The artist celebrates his own voice and produces the image as an outlet to artist’s subconscious as through personal introspection and consistent self-development and awareness. Alexander Paige expresses his own gratitude for living and the ability to experience sunlight, draw with color, have conversation and a general appreciation for life as a whole.
